Greg Overstreet is an American politician who is a member of the Montana House of Representatives for the 88th district.
Early life
Overstreet is an enrolled member of the Muscogee nation; his great grandfather Rev. Noah Gregory was an early 20th century member of the Creek Legislature. Overstreet earned a Bachelor's from the University of Washington in 1989 and a law degree from the Seattle University School of Law in 1993. he worked as a lawyer for 30 years. He wrote laws for a former Republican Attorney General. He announces high school football at Stevensville High School. He is the Stevensville town attorney.
Political positions
Overstreet said that he would represent his constituents as a Conservative Republican. He has described the Bible as "the inerrant word of God." He has proposed making rodeo the state sport of Montana.
The three issues I will focus my legislative service on are: (1) property tax reform, (2) protecting our kids from the extremists, and (3) restoring the checks and balances of a state Supreme Court that is a co-equal branch of state government, not a supreme legislative body that picks and chooses which laws it wants to keep.
